The parish is looking for ways to utilize the garden in Grunta.

Dear parishioners,
I would like to reach out to you with an offer that could be an opportunity not only for a good deed but also for building relationships, relaxation, and shared time together.

The parish owns a plot of land measuring 5,801 m² (parcel no. 638 in the cadastral area of Grunta), which has been used under a lease agreement for agricultural purposes. However, with the end of 2024, this agreement has expired, and the land has been unused since then. It is a beautiful space directly adjacent to the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and the cemetery in Grunta.

It is recorded in the cadastral registry as an orchard. It thus holds not only practical but also spiritual and symbolic significance.
We do not want to sell this land. On the contrary – we would like to offer it for community use. We are looking for those of you who would like to contribute to this space – whether by taking care of the greenery, planting new trees, creating a place for rest and gathering, or organizing community meetings, pilgrimages, and other activities. The land could thus become a vibrant space that connects care for the surrounding landscape with the spiritual life of our parish. A place where a journey from Kutná Hora could lead, where we could meet, create, and grow, not only in terms of harvest but also in human and spiritual dimensions.

Do you have an idea, would you like to get involved, or would you simply like to learn more? We would be happy to hear from you, whether by email at arcidekanstvi@khfarnost.cz or in person directly with Father Vladislav. Every idea, every helping hand, and every kind word are welcome.

Father Vladislav
